Abstract
As one of the four great masterpieces of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), "Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases" has been widely recognized by TCM scholars for its significant clinical guidance. However, the importance of "Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases" in education is often overlooked. We will first analyze the reasons for its important position in the history of TCM, then introduce the main ideas and characteristics of "Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases" from the perspectives of medical ethics and medical skills, and finally discuss its significant guidance for beginners in TCM and the specific manifestations of its historical value.
