Abstract
This study applies reception aesthetics to the analysis of advertising text translation. From the three perspectives of inter subjectivity, creative treason, and horizon fusion, the analysis demonstrates that the application of reception aesthetics theory in advertising translation aligns with the patterns of translational thinking activities and is conducive to explaining the phenomenon of psychological identification among the author, translator, and audience during the advertising translation process.
