Abstract

With the advent of the information age, the field of volleyball training is undergoing unprecedented changes. Although traditional volleyball training methods have profound foundations and unique values, their limitations have become increasingly prominent amid the rapid development of information technology. On this basis, this paper first conducts an in-depth analysis of the current situation of volleyball training and identifies a series of problems existing in traditional training methods, such as over-reliance on coaches’ personal experience, lack of scientific data support, incomplete monitoring of athletes’ conditions, and unbalanced allocation of training resources. These problems severely restrict the improvement of volleyball athletes’ skill levels. Against this backdrop, the application of information technology in volleyball training is particularly vital. Information technology can not only capture and analyze athletes’ training data in real time to provide a basis for scientific decision-making by coaching teams, but also develop personalized training programs to meet the unique needs of each athlete. In view of the current status of volleyball training and the significance of information technology, this paper further puts forward specific strategies for optimizing volleyball training in the information age. It aims to enhance the scientificity and efficiency of volleyball training and promote the continuous development of volleyball through the implementation of these strategies.
