Abstract

Pop music, to be precise, is "commercial music" created with profit as the main goal and artistic value as secondary, possessing a vast audience. Adolescents, as a significant consumer group, are characterized by their youthfulness, individuality, and trendiness. Pop music, with its accessible content, simple form, and easy spread, is highly favored by the youth. The intense commercialization of pop music, while having positive effects on adolescents, also carries negative impacts. As music educators, it is essential to guide adolescents correctly to develop the right value orientation.
