Abstract
As a cultural phenomenon, Internet slang fully embodies the creativity of contemporary youth and expresses their cultural aspirations. Quantitative research on the usage of Internet slang among adolescents reveals its characteristics of high adoption rates and diversification. By actively participating in the production, reproduction, and dissemination of Internet slang, young people express their emotions and ideas to gain group recog internet buzzwords; adolescents; production; dissemination; cultural phenomenonnition and a sense of belonging.
